Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year my company's (Shoosmiths LLP) chosen charity is SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health) and we have a team participating in the 21 miles section of the Edinburgh Kiltwalk on 15 September.

We are also doing the walk in memory of a colleague, and a dear friend, who we lost to suicide at New Year. We are still hurting from the loss of this very special person and anything we can do to support SAMH in their mission to help others in this desperate situation, we will.

I also experience mental health issues and work everyday to keep ahead of the game. I am so thankful for the wonderful people I have in my life who help me keep moving forward.

I haven't set a monetary value to raise but, I do need to get £50 as part of taking part on behalf of SAMH; I really hope I can achieve at least that but anything at all would be so appreciated and motivating to get to the end of 21 miles. As long as no one asks for a lap of honour!!!

Thank you so much for any and all donations.
