We are taking part in the kilt walk 2025 for charities close to our hearts!

Encompass Caithness is a charity based in the highlands set up to improve social care for autistic people, neurodivergent conditions and additional needs in Caithness. Encompass aims to obtain a day centre to improve life skills, building meaningful relationships, and provide a safe space to build a social network which can be challenging for people on the spectrum. Unfortunately Caithness severely lacks this and it is Encompasses aim to change this!

Friends of Carronhill supports the complex needs school for children with complex care needs. Carronhill provides specialised care and education to ensure every child no matter what condition they live with has the best opportunity to thrive! The school is in need of a new school bus to allow them access to the community to build on their life skills and improve social skills.

Many of the people taking part in this walk have close family members with additional support needs who deserve access to specialised adapted facilities to meet their needs! These two charities support the most vulnerable and deserve the recognition for the amazing work they do!
