I'm cycling to Paris for St Peter's Hospice

Bristol to Paris 2025 · 24 September 2025 to 28 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
Last year St Peter’s Hospice cared for my wonderful husband Gareth in the final weeks of his life.
He really did receive exceptional care in beautiful surroundings.
The care Gareth received should be available to anyone who needs it at end of life but it can only be given if enough money is raised.
I’ve challenged myself this year to raise funds for the Hospice. To do this I’ll be riding both the tour de Bristol 100km and Bristol to Paris 400km bike rides.
Both these rides will be real challenges for me and will only be achieved with a lot of training and preparation.
This will also be an emotional journey for me, Gareth and I spent our honeymoon in Paris and returned there for our 40th wedding anniversary. We also cycled there together on our tandem for our 32nd anniversary. To return there without him will be hard.
By donating to my page, you are helping provide care and support to local patients and families when they need it the most.
Your kind donation to St Peter’s helps care for adults with life-limiting illness throughout Bristol and beyond, in their own homes and at our Hospice in Brentry.
All of St Peter's Hospice's services are provided completely free of charge, so it's the wonderfully generous people like yourselves who make sure that every patient and their family get the care that they need.
Thank you for your support, every pound will make a difference and get me closer to my target!
