Story
In loving memory of Ghanie (Gina) Nasser Hammoud. A daughter, sister and loving friend, the most kindhearted little girl you have ever met. To the girl who would cry if we did not give money to the homeless, the girl that never bought anything without buying multiples for friends and family. Allah Yerhama. May Allah Grant her Jannah Al Fardous, Ameen.
Sadaqah Jariyah
The gift that keeps giving
Sadaqah Jariyah is an Islamic gift that provides a chain of long term benefits. Water is a gift of life. As Muslims, it is our duty to help those in need.

About the Wells in Africa:
Water resources in East Africa are incredibly scarce and are not managed correctly in the region. Due to the effects of climate change, such as common droughts and flooding, water sources are either contaminated or dry.
The scarcity and the contamination of water are additionally adding to health problems across the region. Water pollution, lack of sanitation, and poor hygiene is causing an increase in infectious (transferable) and non-infectious (non-transferrable) diseases.
IDRF, in partnership with local communities in countries like Malawi, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Sudan, is addressing these ongoing issues by building water wells.
It costs $2500 to build one motorized water well.
