We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

G F Holding recognises the importance of the Alzheimer’s Society's work, as unfortunately many of us are touched by the terrible impact of dementia. We wish to support the Alzheimer's Society in their work towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives, as well as their work in helping those living with dementia today.

On Friday 27th September 2024 a not-so-fearless team will conquer Helvellyn to raise funds for two charities - the Alzheimer‘s Society and Cancer Research.

At 950m tall, Helvellyn is the third highest point in England. The team is being supported by two professional guides, who are not quelling the team's fears about the ascent and descent! In fact, they are definitely giving the team the heeby-jeebies! Please donate generously to give the team the boost they need!

The team is:

G F Holding's: Simon Holding, Jeff Barton, John Dodds, Neil Poole, Terry Barnes, Andy Smith, Craig Harwood, Sean Barber, Dave Dimmock, Steven Haythorne, Adam Poole, Helen Edge and Catherine Mackenzie

Joined by special guests: Nicole Das Neves, Mike Cook, Tristan Evans, Michelle Richardson and Kevin Oliver.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
