Story
On 14 June 2025, our incredible team will take on a 9 mile and 18 mile hike through Northern Ireland's most dramatic mountain range. This route takes in the views that Jillian loved and enjoyed walking her dogs with friends and family.
Jillian was fun-loving and energetic, and the team will endeavour to replicate and honour Jillian's spirit throughout the hike. With each step, they will carry forward her joy for life, her love for nature, and her unwavering dedication to helping others. It's not just a hike; it's a celebration of Jillian's legacy and a powerful stride towards making a difference for those in need.

In addition to honouring Jillian's memory, our team aims to raise money as a heartfelt gesture to repay those whom we welcomed into our home and provided end-of-life care during Jillian's final week with us. Their compassion and dedication offered immense comfort during a challenging time, and we hope to give back to those who give so much.
All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness and their families at the most challenging time.
£3 helps fund a meal for a patient in one of our hospices.
£26 helps fund an hour of bereavement support by phone or web chat.
£207 helps fund nine hours of overnight nursing care in a patient's home
