Story

Team William, Ernie, Luna, Liam, Scarlet, Bastian and Sid are all running in the Rookie Rush on the 12th May. These amazing children from 4 different schools are all keen to make a difference to Imelda’s life by raising money for Imelda’s therapy. The muddy race is a 1.5k obstacle course including nets, slides and zip wires into mud pools!

William and his friends are likely to be some of the youngest contenders but there really is no stopping them! They want to help Imelda walk.

If they reach their target of £5000 it would pay for 45 hours of therapy at Napa in Harlow. This would build up Imelda’s core muscles, motor planning and confidence which will help Imelda to eventually walk independently.

Please look through the gallery to see a map of the race and images of Imelda doing therapy.
