Story
On 13 October this year, myself and my brother in law, David Logue will be walking the St Francis stage (116km) of the Camino De Santiago for the Celtic Foundation Charity.
The trek, which will take place over five days, is entirely self funded, with all monies raised going towards the charitable aims of the Foundation, which will be particularly focussed this year on children’s development projects and providing much needed financial support to those most in need.
Having both worked and volunteered within the Child Protection arena for a number of years (Gerry in the Police & David as Chair of the Children’s panel), this is a cause close to both our hearts and we gratefully ask for your generous support, no matter how large or small in meeting our sponsorship target!
We guarantee that every penny of this money will go towards improving children’s lives and increasing opportunities for them to thrive, grow and develop.
The ethos and values of the Foundation are fuelled by a determination to equip individuals from the most disadvantaged & vulnerable groups in society with the tools and means to reverse inequality & poverty.
We share those values and ask for your help in supporting this hugely important and worthwhile cause!
On behalf of all the children this will help, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
