The Beddoes' fundraiser for National Coastwatch Institution

Our dad was a volunteer for Coastwatch, for many years, sitting in a hut on the hill in Cornwall, on Pednvadan Point. He was a sailor too, crossing the Channel as well as pottering up and down the South West coast. He sailed for many years with his wife - our mum - Gloria, in Cavatina.
He knew that the volunteers for the National Coastwatch play a vital role. He helped others to keep safe in this busy stretch of water that he loved so much. He died in February, close to the sea that he watched over.
The National Coastwatch Institution looks out for vulnerable people and craft, whether that be swimmers, kayakers, fishing boats, yachts, ribs, anglers to name but a few. It truly is work that helps to save lives – that could easily be you and your loved ones.
Please make a donation in his memory.
