Story

In 2024 I will be running the TCS London Marathon for Meningitis Research Foundation. Meningitis has effected my family vastly when my grandad fell ill with it.

After he was ill for numerous days he was then rushed into hospital with suspected meningitis where if he was not given the correct medication he would sadly die. Thankfully the amazing Drs were able to save his life after administering the correct medication we were told if my grandad had have been ten minuets later getting to the hospital he would have passed away.

For so many people sadly they aren't given the correct medication the first time round leaving so many people loosing there life to meningitis.

By helping me support the Meningitis Research Foundation we can help reach the target of having a meningitis free world by 2030. The Foundation focuses on helping everyone over the world receive education on what meningitis is and how they can spot the warning signs.

Meningitis is deadly; killing and seriously disabling in hours. Small children and young adults are high risk, but all ages can be affected. Globally 1,000 people die daily. We fundraise to invest in research, campaign for vaccines, provide symptom information and support those already affected.
