Hi, I’m Georgie a Senior Veterinary Nurse at Animed Vets in Shedfield, Hampshire

My Aunt Jo Jennings is the Manager at The Solent Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in Portsmouth and I will be abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth on Sunday 20th August 2023 to raise funds for this Charity (reg. charity number 299545).

The Solent Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre is an independent self-funding charity that is part of a network of MS therapy centres throughout the UK. They offer Oxygen therapy in a pressurised environment as well as Oxygen via concentrators. This treatment increases the volume of oxygen delivered to the brain and body tissues to enhance, repair, restore and accelerate the body’s natural healing responses. As well as MS this treatment can also benefit a range of other health conditions including Long Covid. The Centre also offers several supporting therapies such as Neuro-physiotherapy, massage, reflexology, and Yoga. All this is offered in a warm, comfortable, and clean environment in North End Portsmouth.

My reason for supporting this local charity is because it is entirely self-funding and receives no financial help from the NHS or Local Government. It is reliant on donations and fund raising.
