As many of you will be aware, Sarcoma UK is a charity that is very close to my heart. In February 2018, my amazing and strong mum Lisa unfortunately lost her battle with Sarcoma at 48 years old. Having first-hand witnessed the impact this illness can have; I am more determined than ever to help raise funds for this cause to hopefully help change the story for another family.
My mum will forever be my biggest inspiration - she was a picture of resilience throughout her battle, managing to care for those around her even until her final days. Those that know me well will know how much of a challenge this will be, but I am determined to make my mum proud and channel her strength! I am fully committed even half way across the world in the hills and heat that Sydney has to offer.
Sarcoma UK is a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep our Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Thank you in advance for your kind donations and support; I truly believe that they can help make a difference!
