The iconic London Marathon needs no introduction, it's is likely to be on the 'to do' list for every running enthusiast and maybe even a dream for non runners alike!

Story

Losing a loved one is an experience no one can truly prepare for, and sadly, I had to face this difficult reality three and a half years ago.

For those who knew my dad, you’ll no doubt have countless funny memories of him—a larger-than-life personality with endless ‘silly-not-to’ stories. It’s through these shared moments that I find comfort, reliving the joy he brought into our lives and navigating the complex emotions that grief brings.

Grief isn’t something you simply move past—it’s an ongoing journey. Winston’s Wish supports children and young people through these challenging times, helping them recognize obstacles and equipping them with skills to navigate their emotions in the best way possible.

This is why I have decided to run the London Marathon on behalf of Winston's Wish, a charity which has provided support to over 62,000 children and young people coping with the loss of a loved one.

How your donation can make a difference:

💙 £16 – Funds a live chat session for a grieving child or young person

📦 £26 – Provides a resource pack, including a memory box, to help a child remember their loved one

🖥️ £54 – Supports the running of an online group for young people navigating grief

Thank you for your kindness and support. 💙
