We provide free expert care and support to people affected by life-limiting illness

Story

Our 6th annual ‘Run for Jim’ is taking place on Saturday 21st December 2024, marking 6 years since we lost our wonderful Jim Richardson to cancer. We have had such an amazing turn out in previous years which has helped us raise so much money which goes straight to Willen Hospice, who cared for Jim so wonderfully in his final year, during his courageous battle with cancer, and helped our family to deal with the loss of someone so amazing💙 Each year we have seen more and more runners, with last year seeing over 140 people taking part… let’s have the same again this year!

To enter please donate £10 for adults, £7 for under 12 year olds - this will include a signposted 5k run, finishers medal and the infamous cake and savoury selection at the finish! You can walk the route if preferred, and due to staggered start times we should all cross the line in similar times for the wonderful refreshments! 4 legged friends are also welcome 🐕! Various prizes to be won, categories will be released soon! Christmas fancy dress very much encouraged!!

We hope to see lots of you there again to remember Jim and support a fabulous charity! 💙
