Story
Over the next 7 weeks I will be training up for participation in Round 7 of Durham Student Fight Night. This involves an intense training programme that will hopefully take my complete lack of boxing skills to something worth watching. At the end of the 7 weeks (2nd March 2024) my skills will be put to the test when I enter the ring and take on another fighter in front of over 1,000 spectators. Whether I win or lose, this is all in aid of an incredibly important cause – raising awareness for testicular cancer and is why I ask for your support in raising money for The OddBalls Foundation. Please get behind a great cause and make sure you tune into the livestream of my fight via the Student Fight Night YouTube to see how I get on!
The OddBalls Foundation is the UK's leading charity raising awareness of Testicular Cancer.
Testicular Cancer is the most prominent cancer in men aged 15-49, with around 2,400 new cases in the UK every year, that's more than 6 every day. However, if detected early, Testicular Cancer is one of the most curable cancers.
Help us raise awareness of Testicular Cancer to breakdown the stigma, provide people with the correct education, and encourage more men to check themselves on a regular basis, in doing so detect any problems early.
