Story
I'll update this soon with all the usual wordiness(!) but I wanted to make sure the page was live for any of you early-bird keen-beans!
Thanks though. You're aces. Lovesya. xx
£1095 Target - Sponsor to match my 96 Hours Volunteering
This year’s fundraising target matches my 96 hours planned volunteering time against the current UK Minimum Wage of £11.44. This gives us a target of £1,095 which will go toward funding spaces for more than 36 vulnerable homeless adults this Christmas.
Over £4,100 of what we've raised together in the past has come from people ticking the Gift Aid box. You can do this and still remain anonymous to me, and the UK government will give an extra 25% to Crisis - redirecting the income tax you've already paid and making your donation count for even more.
How much should you sponsor?
Whatever you’re comfortable with. Pennies or Pounds. But remember to TICK the GIFT AID box, and it's like a 25% tip!
Below are some examples to help equate your donation with something real;
£9.15 + Gift Aid (= £11.44 ) matches ONE HOUR of my volunteering at the UK National Wage level)
£23.84 + Gift Aid (= £29.80 ) reserves ONE PLACE at Crisis at Christmas
£109.82 + Gift Aid (= £137.28 ) matches me volunteering for ONE NIGHTSHIFT at UK National Wage level)
£238.40 + Gift Aid (= £298.00 ) reserves a TABLE FOR 10 at Crisis at Christmas
£878.59 + Gift Aid (= £1,098.24 ) matches volunteering for ALL MY NIGHTSHIFTS at UK National Wage level)
£1,063.68 + Gift Aid (= £1,329.60 ) matches volunteering for ALL MY NIGHTSHIFTS at the REAL London Living Wage level
