Deafblind UK runners take to the famous streets of the capital in the world's greatest 26.2-mile challenge supporting people living with deafblindness across the UK.

Story

I will be running the 2025 London Marathon on April 27th to raise funds for Deafblind UK.

This incredible charity provides vital support and services to individuals who have both sight and hearing loss, helping them lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

The assistance Deafblind UK provides covers everything from practical advice and emotional support to social activities and advocacy. Your donations will help ensure that these essential services continue to reach those in need.

Deafblind UK has also had a significant impact on my own life - back in 2016, they introduced me to a gentleman named Ron who has dual sensory loss.

Since the initial introduction, Ron and I have formed a friendship that has led to many adventures together, including a trip to Hawaii a couple of years ago where he plucked up enough courage to join me in doing a skydive!

Meeting Ron has been one of the highlights of my life and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to raise funds for a charity that will always have a place in my heart.

Please give what you can and wish me luck!
