Story
This charity is a particularly special one to me - my nan was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s a few years ago and last year we got the same diagnosis for my dad. It’s been a tough adjustment for myself and my family but we never let it get in the way of doing things and enjoying life altogether.
Finding out the news about my dad hit me hard and to see the changes in him happening over time is the hardest part, so to be able to run the London Marathon for this amazing charity is something that will mean so much to me. My dad has always been there for me no matter what and so now it’s my turn to make him proud and give everything I have to do this for him and for Alzheimer’s Research. To see the smile on his face at the end will be priceless.
I am also doing this to help support the amazing charity and through great research, hopefully find out more we can do to help those who are suffering with this wicked disease.
