Teams from George Green LLP have previously completed the National Three Peaks, the Yorkshire Three Peaks and the Welsh Three Peaks to raise funds for our Charity of the Year.

The Derbyshire Three Peaks

The Derbyshire Three Peaks Challenge is an attempt to climb the highest peaks in Derbyshire in 10 hours. The Derbyshire Three Peaks are Kinder Scout, Bleaklow Head and Higher Shelf Stones all connected by a 20.75 mile circular walk.

Mary Stevens Hospice provide specialist care and support for people who are living with an incurable illness, and their families. The Day Services Unit provides:- Specialist advice and support from professional staff to address individual nursing, medical, psychological and social; Physiotherapy; Entertainment and recreation, including music, art, handicrafts and games; Relaxation and socialising, including the chance to talk to others with similar experiences; and, Lunch and refreshments.

MSH receive only 20% of their annual funding from the Government. They’re able to offer their services for free thanks to the donations and support from the local community who raise the other 80%. Their annual running costs are £3.5 million. They rely on donations and support so they can continue to relieve pain and prevent suffering and to give respite and support to those who need it.
