Story
The Challenge
TRIBE Run for Love 5 is the fifth outing in the epic Run for Love series; described as one of the world's toughest ultramarathons. It is a five-day challenge, covering over 225 km with 7,000m metres of elevation in total, and includes two 60km days nestled in the middle... Fair to say, it’s equal parts excitement and fear.
The Cause
TRIBE Freedom Foundation is an incredible charity, originally inspired by a 1,000 mile run from Odessa (Ukraine) to Dubrovnik (Croatia) by the founders of TRIBE to fight human trafficking and establish the first UK home for trafficked children. This was the first Run for Love.
Over 50 million people are living in modern slavery worldwide with an estimated 136,000 people exploited and trafficked within the UK. That's more people living in slavery than ever before, both in the UK and globally.
TRIBE Freedom Foundation is on a mission to fight modern slavery and end human trafficking. They work by raising awareness of trafficking, supporting survivors and enabling frontline projects to prevent modern slavery. They empower communities to create an impact.
Together, we will go further and faster to end modern slavery. Let's Do This!
