Story
The 17th annual Courage in Motion takes place November 3-7, 2024, exploring southern Israel. As an international cyclist, I will ride between 50-130 kilometres each day alongside Israel’s disabled veterans.
Cycling has become one of the most popular sports offered at leading-edge Beit Halochem Centres across Israel, enabling those without the use of their limbs or eyesight the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Proceeds from CIM are used primarily towards the purchase of cycling equipment (customized hand-bikes, single, and tandem bicycles), as well as funding the Centres’ cycling programs.
Beit Halochem Canada is committed to rehabilitating, rebuilding, and enhancing the lives of the now-over 57,000 Israeli men and women disabled in the line of duty or through acts of terror.
