Mourne Seven Summits 2024 · 15 June 2024 ·

On Saturday 15th June 2024 take on the tough challenge of climbing to the summit of all seven peaks in the Mourne Mountains, Co.Down that are 700m or more above sea level.

Story

With 1 in 2 of us predicted to be affected by cancer in our lifetime, Cancer Focus Northern Ireland want to support local people and their families through their cancer journey. Your donation will help them to continue providing services like their counselling service, their driving service, their family support sessions, their art therapy and much more. As a local charity, they are 90% dependent on donations so your support is vital.

As many will know, we as a family lost our wonderful Mum and Nanny after a very sudden, short and unexpected illness only a few months back. Cancer is something we never thought would come knocking on our door, let alone take the woman who held us all together as a family. In order to try support Cancer Focus, Adam and I will be taking part in the Mourne Seven Summits on Saturday 15th June. The Seven Summits is a 19 mile climb covering all seven peaks in the Mourne Mountains that are over 700m.

Any money we can raise to support Cancer Focus can help make a difference to support local people currently battling this terrible disease.

Thanks for any donations made to this great cause.
