Story
On the anniversary of my dad passing away (3rd April 2019) and on his birthday (11th December) we raise money in his memory for a charity that was close to his heart, the RNLI. We are currently at £5,763 and it would mean a lot to us if we could mark his our fifth year without him by hitting the £6k mark. Thank you x
Newquays lifeboat station was established in 1860 and has served the community for over 160 years.
The volunteer lifeboat crew provide a 24-hour search and rescue service 365 days a year, but none of this would be possible without the support of the public and their donations. It costs in the region of £70k a year to run and maintain the service in Newquay, all of which comes from the generous donations of the public.
Your donation will help to fund the selfless work of our volunteer lifeboat crew in Newquay, by doing so you will be helping to save lives around our coast and will be providing the best equipment possible to ensure the safety of our volunteers.
