Story

I am planning to travel to Honduras for a year to volunteer with Miqueas 6:8 through Project Trust. https://www.miqueas68.org/.

I will be living with Jacob and Melody Cherion who are the Honduran directors and have adopted over 30 children who were previously social orphans living in very deprived conditions. Their vision is for all of their children to have a safe home life, a good education, a forever family and to grow up to become outstanding adults who have broken the cycle of poverty. My role will be to help look after, guide and educate these children aswell as helping out in the family generally.

I am trying to raise the above sum which includes flights, insurance, training and accommodation but not any personal expenses.

Thank you so much for considering supporting Miqueas 6:8 through sponsoring me,

Genevieve :)

RCN SC025668
Project Trust is a Scottish-registered educational charity providing young people in the UK and Europe with international volunteering experiences. Project Trust Volunteers are based in projects in Africa, Asia or Latin America for 12 or 8 months supporting teaching or youth development work. Empowering global citizens Project Trust’s aim is to empower generations of young people to act as responsible and active global citizens. We support ethical, long-term volunteering experiences which enable the Volunteers to make a meaningful contribution to their host community whilst building knowledge, skills and cultural intelligence. Project Trust works with a small group of Volunteers each year, allowing the staff team to know each individual’s skills and interests. This allows us to place Volunteers in projects where they can get the most out of the experience and enables our staff to provide tailored support to each young person. Project Trust strives to be open to all young people with the desire, motivation and aptitude required to benefit from a long-term, ethical, volunteering placement
