Story
Join me in supporting FareShare South West (FSSW)! This July I’ll be taking on a 40-mile cycle ride, but there's a twist—I usually rely on my trusty e-bike, and now I'll be tackling the distance on a standard pedal bike! It's going to be a challenge, but it pales in comparison to the daily struggles faced by those experiencing food poverty. Having been a part of FSSW for seven months, I've witnessed first-hand the dedication of the team, with superheroes dressed as volunteers and the extraordinary efforts made to deliver surplus food to those in need.
Why FareShare South West means so much to me…
Growing up in a family reliant on free school meals, and the support of charities, it's disheartening to realise that food poverty is still a pressing issue in the UK, with demand far exceeding supply. By supporting this ride, you will contribute to ensuring nutritious food reaches those who need it most. Just £1 is enough to save and redistribute food for four meals. So, let's come together and make a meaningful impact on the lives of others—sponsor my cycle ride for FareShare South West today.
