This May my childhood friend, Antonia and I are walking the first quarter of the Jurassic Coast (25km) to raise vital funds for MND in memory of both our mums,Clarissa and Diana, who suffered from this cruel disease.

Mum was diagnosed with motor neurone disease-MND, aged 74 and rapidly lost the ability to speak, and then to to swallow. This was followed by weakening of her neck muscles and then it affected her breathing. She lived with this cruel disease with the most inspiring hope and positivity taking part in as many trials as she could in the hope of finding a cure for her and others. Mum died 21 months after her diagnosis aged just 76. Anotonia's Mum sadly died with MND age 73.
