I am raising money for UnityMK by spending a night sleeping rough in a car park at the Big Sleepout 2024. I want to highlight the issue of homelessness in Milton Keynes and the amazing work that UnityMK does to support those who face this terrifying situation.

UnityMK (previously Winter Night Shelter MK) is a year-round charity helping people at their point of crisis. They support rough sleepers; sofa surfers; individuals and families in emergency accommodation or temporary housing; and anyone at risk of homelessness across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

Services held at their Unity Park Station include everything from practical help with food, clothing, sleeping bags, showers and laundry facilities to well-being and mental health support and help into emergency accommodation and employment pathways.

Due to the cost of living crisis they are seeing more people than ever before and I really need your support to raise money for this wonderful charity.
