Story
On the 21st April 2024 I will be running the london marathon in memory of my cousin Jamie who we so sadly lost in September 2022 to a rare neurological disease.
Jamie was not only my cousin but more like a Brother and a Best Friend. He was an inspiration to us all, who bought so much joy, kindness and the best cuddles!
He was a father to two gorgeous children, a Husband, Son, Brother, Cousin, Nephew and Friend.
I feel so lucky to have shared 34 amazing years of fun, laughter and adventure with him. Memories which I will cherish and think back on forever 🤍
Grief since this moment has been unbearably hard, scary, sad, and has made life very tough for us all.
However, Jamie would have wanted for us all to live life to the full and do crazy challenges and follows those dreams…
This is something which I will definitely be doing this year!!
Life really is too short.
Through running the marathon I wish to raise awareness for The National Brain Appeal and I will be thinking of Jamie every step of the way. I know he will get me to that finishing 26.5 mile!
I will also be running for beautiful Moira, my dear friends wonderful Mum!
I will be running alongside two very important people in my life, my Cousin Sammy and Friend Jen!
Please donate what you can to help with the incredible work that The National Brain Appeal charity does.
Will see you at the finish line for a bottle of nice chilled Rose! xx
