We fund equipment, facilities and research to enhance the care of patients in hospital

Story

Hi, my name is Gem, I work as a specialist Maternity support worker within the Maternity department at Royal Stoke Hospital supporting extremely vulnerable Women throughout their pregnancies.

My amazing friend Heather of 36 years is supporting me by taking on the challenge of walking Snowdon on 8th October 2023 with me. Heather is extremely supportive of my passion to help and support these vulnerable ladies.

Through no fault of their own, they have very limited support networks and very limited finances available to them.

I would like to provide daily essential items such as toiletries, pyjamas/ nighties/underwear/socks/sanitary pads/breast pads in preparation for labour. I would also like to provide baby items ready for his/her arrival.

I would like to give these Women the same opportunities/experience that everyone should receive. The simplest of things can be life changing. I am heavily reliant on your support, I would be eternally grateful.

''Everyone has a story, let's make it the best possible''

Thank you :)
