Story

A team of intrepid souls from Mace are taking on the HoldFast Challenge to raise money for Scotty's Little Soldiers. Scotty’s Little Soldiers provides support to children and young people aged between 0-25 who have experienced the death of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.

The event is to be held on 10th July 2024, at (and in) Rutland Water.

The challenge itself is a full day of physical challenge, based on Royal Navy Clearance Diver Training, and is not for the faint hearted. It will test us to our limits, and provide some valuable team building along the way.

The team will be in a wetsuit and boots, using fins, carrying logs, carrying OPPOs, (An awkward shaped object designed to make your life uncomfortable!), running, jumping, in and outs, and much more!
