Di and I, along with some amazing colleagues (big up the Specialist Falls Service), are taking on the Bristol 10k in an effort to raise money for my lovely niece, Aria, who is fighting a very rare mitochondrial disease. This disease is incredibly tough on her and her family, as it affects the way her body produces energy, making everyday life a challenge.

We’re running for Aria and to help fund potentially life-changing treatments and research that could make a huge difference for her and other children facing a similar battle. The road ahead is tough, but with your support, we can help make it a little easier.

Just4Children aims to fund a two-phased approach: a drug repurposing project in the USA with Perlara and research with Charles River in the UK, alongside seeking expertise from doctors at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
