Story
Bone Cancer Research Trust is a charity that is dedicated to saving lives and improving outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer. This charity is particularly important to me. On 2nd September 2023, my Brother in Law Kyle passed away from Osteosarcoma which is a form of Primary Bone Cancer. Kyle was a loving Husband, Son, Brother and and amazing Father to his young boys.
Bone Cancer Research Trust provided invaluable support to Kyle and his wife Kate throughout his diagnosis. They work tirelessly to provide essential funding for research projects so desperately needed to help improve the treatment options available to those affected by this rare type of cancer.
Despite being a small charity, they fund more research projects exploring primary bone cancer than any other organisation and have raised over £807,000 to pioneering bone cancer research last year alone!
Bone Cancer Research Trust is Gatehouse Banks nominated Charity of the year so myself and colleagues from across the Customer team have decided to take on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon on Friday 3rd May to raise funds for this incredible charity and help support more families that are navigating through the most difficult times of their lives.
Please help support this incredible cause and be part of making a difference.
