Story

Hi everyone!

On Friday 21st March, we’re facing the flames and taking part in the Deafblind UK Firewalk 2025.

What is the Firewalk?

It’s exactly what it sounds like – a barefoot walk across red-hot wood embers, burning at temperatures of up to 800°C! No tricks, no special effects – just us, our courage, and the embers. But the heat we’re enduring is nothing compared to the challenges faced daily by those living with deafblindness.

Why we’re doing this?

We’re walking to raise vital funds for Deafblind UK, an incredible charity that provides support to people living with both sight and hearing loss. Deafblindness is a unique condition, and the work that Deafblind UK does is critical in ensuring those affected can live independently, access support, and have a voice in their community.

With the beautiful Peterborough Cathedral as the backdrop, we’ll be literally hot-footing it across the coals to show our support and raise money to continue this essential work.

Every penny you give will make a real difference, helping them continue their life-changing work and reach all those in need.

With your support, we’ll make every step across those coals count!

Lots of Love,

Tom & Gemma x
