Story
On 6 October I will be sleeping out to help raise vital funds to support vulnerable children.
There are over 4 million children living in poverty across the UK and with the impact of the cost of living crisis hitting home, they're even more vulnerable. Tonight, many will go to sleep hungry. Some won't have a warm bed to climb into or even a safe space to wake up in.
Action for Children makes sure young people have the basics - warm clothes, hot meals, a proper bed. Together with active support. They can help them recover from abuse and neglect and put support in place for families to protect against it happening. And they can offer the right mental health support so young people can thrive.
Please help me to help a vulnerable child's dreams of a safe and happy childhood come true. I know times are tough, yet £50 could provide clothes and shoes for a child, or pay for gas and electricity for a family for a week.
£125 could provide a child with a bed. And £200 could provide a young person in emergency accommodation with breakfast, lunch, evening meals and toiletries for a fortnight.
Thank you!
