Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I lost my mum to suicide. She was 58.
You never really get over it and always wonder "what if..."
As a Listening Volunteer for Samaritans it helps me knowing that in times of need there is someone at the end of the phone, on a web chat or email.
In July I'm walking Snowdon in the dark with hope in my heart to see a new dawn rise as I place one foot in front of the other.
The hardest step for many is the first one out of their torment or grief.
Samaritans are there 24/7 365 days a year, for them...
If you feel you can, please donate
Hiking up Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon, 1,085m) with only torches and the moon to light the way will provide us with a huge sense of achievement.
Seeing the sunrise across Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) will be a memory never forgotten! Upon our descent we will witness the breath-taking mountain range open up to give glorious views.
Life is sometimes challenging and helping folk at a time of need is a gift that Listening Volunteers are dedicated to be there for.
Thank you again so much for your support for Samaritans!
