Firstly, thank you for visiting my just giving page.

I am raising money for the charity that has a massive place in my heart, DEMENTIA UK. My amazing mum suffered with this illness for many years and very sadly passed away 4 years ago.

Watching my mum deteriorate right before my eyes was one of the hardest things I have ever been through and sadly this is the reality for thousands of other families.

Seeing the around the clock work the staff at this charity do to help not only dementia patients, but their families, made me realise I needed to try and contribute back something to this amazing charity.

Last year with the help and support of friends and family I trekked up the Yorkshire 3 peaks, which turned out to be just a the start as I then challenged myself and went on to trek the national 3 peaks in just 24 hours in aid of Dementia and alzheimer's research. In this trip alone I raised around £1500.

I have now decided I want to push myself even further and prove that when you put your mind to something, anything is possible. Therefore in February 2024 I have decided to trek upto Everest base camp in a bid to continue to raise money for my nominated charity, DEMENTIA UK.

I would really appreciate any donations you can make to help me make a difference and help support families that are suffering, just like my family did, with this horrible disease.
