Story

COLLECTION IS NOW CLOSED

What

The Barnes Family - with the help of Martin Rumball and Rachel of East Horsley - will be collecting Christmas trees across East Horsley, West Horsley, Effingham and Bookham on the 6th and 7th of January 2024 to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK.

Following three successful charity Christmas tree collections where you helped to raise over £8000, we are back by popular demand! This year we will be expanding beyond Horsley with collection available in Effingham and Bookham too.

We'd like to say a big thank you to Squires Garden Centre Dobbies Effingham and The Vineries Effingham for circulating leaflets. And of course, everyone who has supported this collection before.

Why

Anyone reading this will have been affected by this cruel disease in some way, as we have. So, help us raise money and take the stress out of your Christmas by leaving your tree outside the front of your home for collection. Trees will be picked up over the two-day weekend and taken to the local Christmas tree recycling points.

How

Simply donate a minimum of £15 (or more if you wish!) to this page and send your pickup address to horsleyxmastrees@gmail.com alongside a confirmation of your donation (e.g. a screenshot or email receipt).

When

6th and 7th January 2024

See you after Christmas. Why mess up your car, and your back when we can take the stress out of Christmas?
