Here we are again...

Last year’s challenge doesn’t seem that long ago (especially for Dr Johnson and Mrs Titman who clearly remember their long list of "I’m A Celebrity" challenges like it was yesterday!!!!).

The team of 4 - Dr Johnson (Head,) Mrs Wallis (Head of Prep,) Mrs Titman (Deputy Head of High School) & Mrs Bartle (Head of Early Years) - have decided to reunite as one again but with a new member on board … as Mr Horbury, our new Finance Director, will also take part in this year’s challenge. He says he can’t wait... either he’s got a good poker-face or he doesn’t have a clue what he is letting himself in for! Either way, he has agreed now so there’s no turning back!

With Leadership Challenge donations nearly at an unbelievable £10,000, our hope is that it will actually get over the 5-figure mark this year … and we need your help and support to get there.

This year’s challenge sees us "Back in the Kitchen" where we will spend the day with Wayne and his dream team … we would like to say we will add value, but unless Wayne has forgotten the last time we ‘helped’ in the kitchen, we all know we will bring total chaos (and a lot of laughs!)

Our challenge will begin at ‘Friday Family Breakfast’ where the team will serve breakfast to pupils and their parents. Holroyd Howe have kindly agreed that the usual breakfast charges will be replaced with donations to Children in Need and so a donations bucket will be in place of the usual cash register. Please give as generously as you can!

Meanwhile there will also be members of the team rattling their Children In Need buckets in the car park as usual, hoping to gather whatever donations they can for such a worthy cause!

Once breakfast has finished… and Wayne and his team will probably be ready for us all to go back to our day jobs … the real fun of lunch preparation begins!

The team of 5 will remain in the kitchen throughout the day, preparing and serving lunch for pupils throughout the whole school. With a planned menu including Build Your Own Burger, the pupils are all in for a treat! Further 'enhancements' will be added to lunch throughout the upcoming week, depending on the level of donations we receive.

As always, videos (unlikely to be flattering!) will be shared on our social media pages throughout the day! So that’s something for you to look forward to.
