A home is a human right. Yet, every day millions of people are being devastated by the housing emergency. Our amazing team of London Marathon runners are joining the fight to defend the right to a safe home. Because home is everything.

Story

I am very excited to say I will be running the London Marathon 2025 to support the vital services provided by Shelter. Many will know I have somewhat of an obsession with running, and this marathon will be special as it marks my first attempt at this distance. I’m prepared to be humbled by the experience and am fully committed to training hard for it!

With thousands of people in the UK facing homelessness or living in unsafe conditions, including a staggering 150,000 children, the need for support is critical. A home means everything to me, especially having young children, and I am proud to convert my passion for running to support Shelter.

I have secured a charity place for the London Marathon with Team National Grid and have pledged to raise £2,000 for this cause. National Grid has committed to match every pound raised for Shelter. So if we can hit my target of £2,000, Shelter will receive £4,000!

Your support means a lot to me, whether it's through a donation or simply keeping me motivated with extra carbs in the office.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity!
