Who is Gary i am a 60 year old man from Stoke on Trent i am a mechanic at holdcroft nissan and i LIKE RUNNING

so thats me but why have i set up this fundraising

I hear so many times about people suffering from cancer related illness and recently lost a friend Ivor Owens from this horrible disease some at my running club (stokeFIT)may know Ivor, he lived in Milton and prior to his illness was a member and frequent visitor of Baddeley green working mens club the place our twice weekly runs go from. He was helped by Douglas Macmillan during his illness so what better charity to raise funds for.

I have been running for 3 years running races through the years but never fundraising. This year I am registered to run in north staffs road racing association events (http://www.nsrra.org.uk/)so doing more races so thought it was about time i raised money for a great charity when doing these hard miles. I will be doing runs anything from 3 mile ( 5k) park runs to half marathons and about 20 events over the next 12 months
