I'm cycling the Tour de Manc 2025 and the Trans Pennine Trail for #Team St Ann's!

Tour De Manc · 4 May 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
I'm cycling with #TeamStAnns at the Tour de Manc 2025! 100k in a day with over 5000ft of climbing.
In addition to that I will be taking on a long held ambition to cycle across the country on the Trans Pennine Trail from Southport to Hornsea, 215 miles coast to coast, off road, over 4 days between the 3rd and 6th April 2025.
In doing these challenges I’m proud to support the Build It Together campaign for St Ann's Hospice, which aims to construct a new hospice that will provide exceptional care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and support their families across Greater Manchester.
St Ann’s is a place particularly close to my heart as I witnessed first hand the wonderful way they treated my mother in law Frances Bellis when she was suffering with cancer. They made sure she had an amazing Christmas ( a family time she always loved ) and their support and care extended to the whole family at a really difficult time. Also remembering my wonderfully generous father in law David who made a regular donation to St Ann’s that none of us even knew about until he’d passed. I hope that in undertaking these challenges and joining #TeamStAnns I can help other families receive the same support in the new hospice for many years to come.
Every penny donated truly makes a difference in making this vision a reality. Here’s how your support can help:
£1 – Could buy a brick.
£25 – A pallet of bricks (we need around 140,000 for the new hospice).
£100 – A square metre of timber cladding.
£400 – A solar panel.
£1,000 – A window.
£8,000 – A bicycle shed.
£12,000 – An en-suite bathroom, enhancing patient dignity during personal care.
£18,000 – An electric car charging point.
Please support me in helping St Ann's build the new hospice!
