Petra Dunes Challenge 2023
After completing the HSBC Arctic Challenge Greenland in 2018 raising money for WaterAid and the HSBC Andean Challenge for mental health in Ecuador in 2020 this is my latest adventure to raise money for Charity.
On the 23rd of September, 120 HSBC colleagues from around the world will meet in Jordan to take on a 100km trek through the Valley of the Moon (Wadi Rum) with some of the most exhilarating and rugged landscapes in Jordan, culminating with a trek to Petra, the incredible ancient Nabataean city and UNSECO World Heritage Site which dates back to the second century BC.
With no access to typical facilities, everyone will be sleeping rough in the middle of the desert, to raise money and awareness for the Jordan River Foundation (JRF).
