Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Henley Man Club was founded in March 2024 by the co - founders Luke Dorn and Gary Boys which is a Non Profit Group which now has over 30 members with the aim to support men and to create a safe and secure environment where men can talk and support and sign post each other to over come any challenges . To create a place of belonging and improve the identity of men and in a changing world to promote old fashioned male values and to support the community through fundraising and projects .

Henley Man Club are raising funds for a Christmas Present Appeal, collecting donated presents until mid-December.

You can help us spread the joy of Christmas to families whose children would otherwise not receive a gift.

Please support our local Christmas Present Appeal working inconjuction with Nomad a Local Charity and donating new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children who might not otherwise receive a Christmas present. The gifts will then be wrapped and distributed to those in need by Nomad .

NOMAD Youth & Community project is an active local charity based in Henley on Thames that supports children, young people and families at grass roots level. They provide support for those facing challenging situations in their lives and seek to work collaboratively with other organisations like Henley Man Club and agencies through delivering positive and individually tailored programs of support.

NOMAD also run our Local Food bank here in Henley .

We will be raising money from doing Various Challenges leading up to Christmas to purchase toys and gifts for local children and would really appreciate any donation and support

Thanks for all

Gary & Luke

Nomad Youth & Community Project is an active local charity based in Henley on Thames on the border with Berkshire and Buckinghamshire that supports children, young people and families at grassroots level. We provide support for those facing challenging situations in their lives and seek to work collaboratively with other organisations and agencies through delivering positive and individually tailored programmes of support. Interventions are delivered through four keys areas: *Schools Programme, *After School & Holiday Programme, *Family Support Programme and *Community Programme which includes the Food Bank Known for being a picturesque market town famous for its regatta, Henley is one of the more expensive places to live in England, so questions are often asked about the need for such a project? The wealth of the area easily masks the needs leaving many feeling isolated, lonely, and unheard. Nomad endeavours to make a difference through: Valuing people, loving, and accepting them Creating a safe nurturing environment Working together with integrity Putting others first Showing appreciation Encouraging people One young person says: “Honestly I couldn’t put into words how grateful I am to have received support from NOMAD. Such lovely, caring and considerate people”. One mother on receiving a food parcel says “Thank you. The girls get very excited when we receive your food parcel. Really appreciate it and very grateful”.
