Story

STRIDING OUT FOR BIRDY

Thank you for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page!

I am taking part in the Saint Francis Hospice Memory Walk on Sunday 8th September to remember Deborah Bird (Birdy) and because I want to be a part of ensuring that hospice care continues in our community.

Birdy passed in January 2022. She received the most wonderful care at Saint Francis. Hospice care is free, but only a small fraction of it is financed by the National Health Service. The rest comes from private donations.

If you can support my walk on 8th September, you can be assured that the money is going to a fantastic cause - one that Birdy would be happy to support.

Please donate if you can. Birdy walks beside us every day. I hope she is pushing me along on Sunday.

Gary Bird xx
