RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

As you are aware our dear Son, brother, brother-in-law, Uncle, Godfather, and most importantly friend was taken from us too early, Myself and the family would like to thank everyone for all of the kindness shown over the past week.

Messages, picture shared, visits, cards, flowers and just pure kindness shown from you all.

Between us we have tried to come back to as many people as we can but all we can say is thank you from the bottom of our hearts it really hasn’t gone unnoticed.

As much as flowers and gifts are lovely and we appreciate all the ones we have received so far we just don’t have enough vases to physically take anymore.

This isn’t a post to tell you what to do in anyway but we do believe the money you spend could be used more effectively.

We know how much you care and that’s why we ask that if there is anyone thinking about sending anything please please please donate to the page below.

These brave people put their lives at risk 24/7.

They risk not coming home to their families to save to save ours.

We want to give back to the RNLI in anyway we can possible as they have spent long hours not only searching for my brother at the weekend but thousands of other families.

We will continue this page for a while and until after his funeral whenever that may be.

Even if it’s as little as £1 we would rather it go to hopefully finding someone else’s loved one one day.

The whole family want to thank you for your continued support at this difficult time. x

And in the infamous words of Gareth/Kimo, its always a pleasure and never a chore.
