Story
When Santa asked Thomas (my 8year old) what he wanted for Christmas he replied :
"I don't want a present for myself, I want all the homeless people to be warm and have a full tummy"
After this visit to Santa we spoke about the different charities that help do this and how Thomas could help too. Thomas decided he wanted to do a run to raise money to help feed the homeless this Christmas. The Hope centre does fantastic work to help the homeless and provide Christmas dinner to those in need, along with opening for extended hours to provide somewhere warm to be.
He read the website and saw that £430 would pay for half a day service on Christmas so Thomas decided he wanted to raise that to help them. So on the 16th December he is going to run the Rothwell 2km Kids race dressed as Santa and is asking sponsorship to help those who have nothing this Christmas.
(The 16th was cancelled by the organisers so Thomas is now going to do the Buckingham 5km)
