I will be taking part in the 100km Tour de Bristol 2025 for St Peter's Hospice. This is a big ride for me and will be very challenging.

I am doing this in memory of my very dear friend Alex, who passed away on April 12th last year. She spent her last few weeks at St Peter's Hospice, where she was in a lovely room surrounded by beautiful gardens, and looked after by the most caring people. Those last days of visiting were incredibly tough, but the hospice environment and its staff made things a little easier.

Alex and I had been the best of friends since meeting nearly 35 years ago. I miss her every day but by doing this ride, it helps me give something back to St Peter’s, which I know she would be so supportive of. It is our way of saying thank you to them for the care they showed her, and those of us around her, in her last weeks/days.

All of St Peter's Hospice's services are provided completely free of charge, so it's the wonderfully generous people like yourselves who make sure that every patient and their family get the care that they need.
