Running the Great South Run for the Isle of Wight MS Society – In Honor of My Mum
This year, I’ve decided to take on the incredible challenge of running the Great South Run in support of the Isle of Wight MS Society, a cause that means so much to me and my family. As some of you may know, my mum was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) – a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, and unfortunately, has no cure. Every day, I see her strength and courage in facing this unpredictable disease, which inspires me to do everything I can to support her and others living with MS.
The Isle of Wight MS Society does fantastic work for individuals and families living with MS. They provide vital support services, fund research, and help raise awareness about MS, aiming to improve the lives of those affected by this condition. By raising funds through this run, I hope to contribute to their efforts in making life a little easier for people like my mum, and ultimately, help in the fight to find a cure.
