Story

In May 2023 our family life was turned upside down with the diagnosis of Liam having stage 2, testicular cancer which had spread to his back lymph nodes. From diagnosis to the final chemo treatment round, It's in the bag were there to support us the whole way through. From financial help to books of information to ease our worry, nothing was ever an issue.

Since September Liam has been in remission, it’s in the bag are still helping by providing ‘survivor toolkit’ sessions to all patients after treatment. Allowing them to share experiences, meet others that have been through similar situations, get answers and become stronger along the road of recovery from Testicular Cancer.

I am not only jumping to raise as much money possible for such an amazing charity. I am also jumping to raise as much awareness as possible to all men out there! KEEP CALM AND CHECK YOUR BALLS!

Please join us and donate to ‘It’s in the Bag Testicular Cancer Support’ 🧡🧡🧡🧡

RCN 1163735
It’s in the Bag is run by a group of survivors with support from specialist NHS staff and provide hands-on support for men with testicular cancer (germ cell) in the South-West. We have three simple aims: Support: Being diagnosed with testicular cancer and going through treatment is a huge challenge – physically, mentally and emotionally. We provide a range of activities and initiatives to help men through this tough time. Awareness: We teach men the importance of checking their balls regularly and taking any issues straight to their GP. Spreading this knowledge promotes earlier diagnosis, which often means simpler, more effective treatment and better chances of a cure. Survival: With UK cure rates for testicular cancer running above 98%, we focus on survival helping guys tackle the emotional and practical impact of cancer, both during treatment and into their lives after.
