Hi all, My name is Gabi, and I am representing the North East as Miss Newcastle 2023 as part of the Miss Great Britain final in October. As part of my journey I am trying to raise as much money as possible for Alex's Wish, a charity that helps children with a life-threatening illness, hence our determination and hard work to find a treatment and a cure for Alex and all the boys with Duchenne.

Duchenne is a form of muscular dystrophy, and Emma found out the devastating news when Alex was just four years old.
